Should WWE do a Title Unification line or go back to the Brand Extension? Here are a few pros & cons to what both could so.

    Title Unification:
    Positives:

1.) Title Unification would work in the case of both brands being combined and staying combined. We have way too many titles right now for basically what is ONE show.. With Raw being clearly considered the main brand, doing away with the Heavyweight Title wouldn't even make much of a difference.

2.) Would add legitimacy to Smackdown. The Heavyweight Title is useless at this point. With Ziggler FINALLY returning & the feud being horrible as it is now, the title has never meant less to the WWE. Triple H, Batista, Edge, & even Michaels when the title first came along made the title out to be the next big thing and IT WAS. Orton & Benoit having it was great as well.

3.) Would fix lack of star power WWE does not have: Can save WWE money as they can cut USELESS MEMBERS of the roster. With WWE saving money, they can put it towards other things such as Fireworks (Don't have them like they used too) & more. Of course, you need jobbers & what not, but there are a number of people getting paid to sit in the back and do nothing.

    Negatives:

1.) Smackdown has lost A LOT of legitimacy & has been none other than a filler show since the brands combined. The blue brand unfortunately now is in comparison with Main Event on Wednesdays. With Main Event of Wednesdays, Smackdown on Friday, Title Unification would lead to all of these shows being for one title. Unless WWE does away with Main Event, you can't clutter us all with this one title. With the mid-card titles probably going to unification as well if the WWE/WHW unify, the shows would have much more time for more legitimate feuds, rather than just basic feuds of one sitting at ringside watching his challenger fight.

2.) Less people would get a chance to build themselves, as WWE is no longer good at booking/creating mid-card feuds like they used to. The only way they build new stars is by giving them a mid-card title, rather than being able to put them in a feud. WWE needs to fix this matter, & if they do, perhaps this would work, but as of now, we know WWE is not good at booking anything that doesn't involve Team Hell No, The Shield, & the WWE title feud.

3.) Pay-Per-Views would have less meaningful matches & more filler feuds that WWE is not good at booking. Plain & simple.

    Brand Extension:

    Positives:

1.) It would add legitimacy to Smackdown, as people aren't very interested in the brand. Get Khali out of there & put more real wrestlers on the show like it used to have, create feuds with young talent, it would work.

2.) Future stars get more of a chance to be built up: Like I said, WWE is not good at booking mid-card feuds anymore to boost people up. They believe giving someone a mid-card title is the only way to do this.. Since this is there thinking, we can't control that, so if it were to continue, just let the brands extend.

3.) Ratings would improve as the Heavyweight Title would mean more.

4.) People get more of a chance to improve the MUCH NEEDED MIC SKILLS on a taped show, where things can be edited at the very least. Knowing the show is taped, superstars would probably be more comfortable talking.

    Negatives:

1.) There is not enough star power: Simply put, John Cena, CM Punk, Ryback, Fandango, The Miz, Curtis Axel, Sheamus, Bryan, Kane, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Ambrose, & Randy Orton are kind of the only people who draw viewership. I'm probably forgetting a few, but that is close enough. With the show being 3 hours, a lot of star power is needed, especially when we have TWO BRANDS.

2.) People might get the Sheamus/Orton/Del Rio treatment: Suddenly they are loved on Smackdown, but when it comes to LIVE shows we see how the people really feel. The real wrestling fans don't care for the slow-paced, stale Orton & Sheamus. Other stars would probably get this as well, as we don't know how they are LIVE.
